I pretended to be normal so good that it faked me out too. However, undoing what judgemental people (aka, bullies) have done is something that cannot be faked.

Who decides the norm in life? The media? The government? Religion? We go to school as a child, we go to the doctor, we go to church, we go to visit family, we go to the store. We follow our parents and siblings and family. We learn how to behave.

First I want to say – They Picked Me! All my relationships throughout my entire life were a result of someone picking me. Not my choice but my acceptance and tolerance of them. Kind of like an arranged marriage or cult.

What can someone do to help an Autistic person? Explain yourself as if you are talking to a classroom of adults.
